A Little Surreal

Well... don't you think it is about time I get off my duff and let you know how brain surgery feels a week into it? This whole "ride" has been so surreal but I have felt such an amazing constance of God's prescence. A lot of things stand out in my mind the first being able to lay in the hallway for an hour or more, looking into the operating room being prepared for me and having an INCREDIBLE peace that passes understanding. I sure didn't make that up but it was so amazing to be so calm - God IS GOOD - the other thing I've been amazed at is when the doctors came into check on my responses time after time they would ask me to raise my arms then turn my palms upward. When it hit me they are putting me in position to praise my Lord- they told me I wouldn't be able to do that I was humbled. God was with me and even now in the days ahead when I push too hard or too little and get discouraged there He is in a phone call, soft touch, yummy meal etc. Thank you guys for all you're doing for us. We feel wrapped in His love. ( I'll entertain you with some brain surgery humor later but... am tuckering out. ) I love you so much. Tracy Ann

Once again we see God's mercy new every day. What a blessing to be able to see God send his mercy to you every day in so many ways. My favorite verse:
Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

You are certainly a testament to God's truth, Tracy.

It is SO good to hear from you. So many of us are
"chomping at the bit" to talk to you or to visit, but we are waiting until you have healed more. I can't wait to hear some of your stories. Amazing love is being poured out over you from the author of that love. Rest in it, my precious sister.

You are so amazing to me. Yours and Jeff's relationship is so very sweet. I just tear up at the picture of Christ you guys keep painting everyday. You know how very much I want to hear every detail but I'm waiting patiently for you to feel up to having us all overwhelm you with love! Haha. Just know we are here and praying everyday, well more like everytime you cross my mind (which is often). I love you my sister. I loved the "notebook head" picture. It makes me feel better hearing your little funny self coming through.
Don't push yourself too much. You just had brain surgery for crying out loud!!!
It is so funny, it is like you are some kind of celebrity. Every time someone says they have had a viewing of the great Tracy Kamprath, everyone gathers around and wants to hear every detail! You really are like a rock star, not punk though, more like, "Jesus Rocks" star!

I am so glad to hear that you are doing well. I am amazed at how fast your recovery has been. You are truly a testament to God's grace and mercy. It is always so exciting for me to get on and read the blog and see how you are doing because I am seeing the power of prayer through your recovery. I have been praying for you along with several of my friends here at Grove City College including the girls in my bible study group and the Spanish church I attend. We will all be continuing to pray!

Tracy, m I sent an e-mail yesterday but put the wrong e-dress on it. I am Kathryn Metzger.I have been keeping up with your most amazing surgery. I know a friend who has his left eye out of commision, He finds that watching movies on TV the black and white films are much easier to watch. Kathryn
